I just got TDS and need to know a few things. The first thing I can think of is can you get rid of the annoying graphic of part of Garrett's hood obscuring the top left field of view in 1st person mode?

Can you provide a screenshot please as this is not a standard feature of TDS.

Check in third person if it's a large penis, slung up and over. Report back quick!

It's not just something in the background obscuring my view. I can take more screenshots and it will still be there. You can see the background through it too.
I'd say it's just a graphics glitch. I have had a few system crashes since running TDS. I use a P4-2800, 512Mb RAM, Radeon 9200 128Mb but the drivers for the Radeon are old and installing new one's requires the .NET framework which is too much work.

you should really, really, really do what's necessary to run the newest ATi drivers. TDS was designed around nVidia hardware (which is why there are quite a few bugs when running an ATi card), and the game engine might be encountering problems access the out of date drivers - issues that could very well be fixed with the updates.
I run an X700 Pro and never had any problem with TDS itself, so . . .

I run an ATI AIW X800XT and all the THIEF games (TDP, TMA,GOLD, and TDS) run on XP with no problems.
I do run the OMEGA drivers, however. Over time I have found that (
www.omegadrivers.net) deliver better drivers than Nvidia or ATI.
