I was inspired by the new patch for the first two games to playthrough all three games again but I some quick questions in regards to Deadly Shadows.
Should I use the Minimalist Project or should I just stick John P's Texture Pack and Sneaky Patch?
Does the Minimalist Project get along with Fan Missions or should I just stay with the other two mods mentioned above if I wanna play Fan Missions without some serious messing around?

Get thee to the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83801) T3 tweaks thread.
Most of the changes the minimalist mod makes you can achieve to your own personal preferences by following the instructions therein. If you're scared of text files then minimalist might be worthwhile - otherwise I'd suggest applying the changes you want to make. Minimalist switched off/changes some stuff that I personally thought was better in than out - like 3rd person view, fine in principle but in practice leaning is pretty borked in T3 and switching views for a peek around a corner goes a long way to rescuing the playability there imho - so personally I wasn't a minimalist mod fan.
Definitely worth spending a little bit of time getting the thing playing the way you want it though.

That's what I'll do then since I don't really have a fear text editing. On a short off topic note.
Do I have to do anything special so that Thief 2x takes advantage of the improvements and fixes brought by the Version 1.19 patch?
I pretty much did everything I wanted to do on the list of tweaks and it run runs good so I seem to be in the clear to enjoy the series again to my hearts content.
