I have this really annoying problem where the text (letters to be precise) appear broken and chipped apart when I'm on menus and when I'm reading books and parchments. I know this has something to do with my graphics card being incompatible with T:DS but I was wondering if there is a fix to this.
Here's the annoying problem

The background image is a bi(n)k movie, the text is made of direct draw surface textures. Just in case you have issues with other bik movies, try to get the Bink & Smacker thing with some new drivers hopefully and/or some nVidia (or DirectX?) thing I don't know about for the dds issue. That's all I can say about what the menu is made of. On the other hand this could likely be another strange Dual Core/Hyperthreading problem but I was never good with processors.

Nope, not using muticores. Everything, the movies, in-game graphics, is fine but the text is messed up. One thing though, text on the controls menu is completely fine.
So, any possible fix?
