Thief Deadly Shadows vs. classic Thief (Dark Project, Metal Age, FM's) - by Snakebite

I was wondering how many of us prefer Thief III than the Thief II or I. I think Thief III was amazing from all points of view -> graphics, engine, gameplay, storyline, design. It gave me the feelings back with Theif II and more. I've played all. Sorry we wont see Thief IV...

I like them all, but I agree with your Thief 3 assesment.

There may never be an official thief 4, but with the Dark Mod and Unforseen Consequences we may at least manage something of a thief 3x (though on a different engine... ).
I'm sure you know what I mean.

Thief 3 is easily more accessible than T2. I think ISA did a great job at keeping the thief feel and at the sametime broadening the overall appeal of the franchise.

I like them all, and I thought it was awesome that they kept the same voice actors for Garrett/guards.

I have to agree 100% with that. Without the same person doing the voices, it would never have been as good and immersive. You get used to things like that.
