Strange: the IBT patcher gives me the error "runtime error '76': path not found"
And all the new wall textures are missing, also the frob highlight and some more stuff.
Edit:
Sorry, just found the fix
-If that happens you'll have to fix the registry string for the game path (as described in the Install readme, and as you've discovered).
After that, you'll have to run ibt_patcher.exe manually from the Start menu (Start\All Programs\Eidos\Thief - Deadly Shadows\Collective Texture Pack\ibt_patcher), choose the ALL TEXTURES Preset, and click the + button.
After that, all the textures you chose to install will be enabled and should show up ingame despite that error message.
For others reading this; the above is only necessary if you get the error message - otherwise the install is automated all the way.

You don't
have to, but I would highly recommend it (you will also be prompted to do this as soon as you open the new installer, if it detects that you have one of the old packs installed).
The reason you should do so, is that 1) my new pack's uninstaller won't be able to restore the original game textures if you don't, and 2) you'll have some old registry strings from the older packs laying around if you don't.
Instead of spending half an hour uninstalling the old Misc. pack though, you can download (
http://www.john-p.com/textures/Cleaner.html) my Cleaner file. The Cleaner will
not uninstall the older packs, but it will let you remove their registry entries and a few of their files.
If you go that route and use the Cleaner, you must reinstall the game afterwards.
Or - if you made a backup of your .ibt files, bring those backed up files back into the Maps directory.
A clean game install is highly recommended before you install this pack. Not
totally necessary, but you may avoid a couple of weird problems that way, and it would be easier to troubleshoot if you get problems on a clean game install.

I'm not sure if it's your mod or if TDS just glitched, but, uhhh...(check out the fingers :o)
Anyway, great work! It's a huge improvement over the low quality original textures.
Nah, it's just the overly large hands the modelers decided to go with. These go along with the large eyes and heads of most of the AI.

Jumpin' jehosafats!
Those look excellent! Too bad my copy of Thief is for the Xbox this time... :(
Makes me wonder if I should stop by at EB Games and see if Thief: Deadly Shadows for the PC is in the Bargain Bin.

I seem to have a slight problem with my Garrett model textures, but I'm not exactly sure where the problem comes from.
I made a clean install of Thief 3, as suggested. I then installed the Patch, then the Collective Texture Pack, then Minimalist 1.4, then finally the Animation Tweak 1.6. When I load up the game, Minimalist, the new animations, and all the new textures seem to work fine except Garrett's. Whenever he's in shadow, he appears to be covered with a layer of white. When Garrett's in the light the problem goes away, but whenever I step back into the shadows it comes up again.
Any ideas?
