I'm confused why Gore_Torn specified Thief 2, given that all three LGS Thief games have essentially identical player interfaces.
Of course he's also apparently one of those people who thinks "mod" is an acronym.
I'm sure I'm not alone on this. I use the word "MOD" as a way to identify the tweek in gameplay. I could also be referencing perhaps a INI tweek, .exe executable, etc. Seems almost everyone here understood what I meant.
Getting back to the topic, Gold Project looks very promising! Getting rid of the obnoxious loading zones sounds ideal for my gaming experience for Thief. Which to me, doesn't sound identical T2 VS T3 to me. I will also have to give the Minimalist mod in the future since it focuses on what made Thief 1 and 2 great. :thumb:
Thanks guys!

The minimalist mod rocks!
But one thing: I went to play the first pagan mission, to steal the paw, and in the briefing, whoa! the most noticeable change, instead of difficulties, play styles! Nice, I put it on Ghost. But hesitant, I aborted the briefing, saved the game in the City, and went again. What do you know, right in the beginning of the mission, there's a fight between underground miners and pagans, 3 of them died, and guess what, mission failed. Bummer! Loaded the game, and now I'm on the mission as Thief playstyle.

Still the same ZyloneBane. But thanks for the assumption on who I am. :joke:

We have something bigger under way but it'll take at least until Christmas before it ships. On the technical side, existing tweaks and mods are supposed to be handled centralised. Concerning the content, e.g. proper TDS missions will have no loading zones.
I can't wait!! :cheeky:
