Hi everyone!
Game of my life is Thief :) And I am buying a new laptop with only wish it could run Thief 3, but I am as well constraint on budget but on the same time eager to hands-on Intel's Santa Rosa, which employs this young graphics:

Has anyone tried, how many FPS and if it is playable? I will play no other game than DS, then i will delete the windows partition afterwards ;) So just tell me the benchmarks on this card. As now I have Intel 915GM and i get thief3 as a slideshow sometimes :( not playable..
Thanks huge!

PS_offtopic: will this card run Beryl in Linux, and, most important -- water effect within it?

Surprisingly with the Unreal engine you can tone down the graphics to the bare minimum and not lose a lot of detail vs the performance gain you get.

Why would you say that? Your given site does not point this out at all. ATI 1300 benchmarks:
# 3DMark03: 3200 points
# 3DMark05: 1000 points
# 3DMark06: 560 points
and for Intel there is only an old 3DMark:
3DMark03: around 1700 Points
They do not share the same performance class (Intel - 5th, ATI -- 4th). Could you re-explain yourself?
And for Spaztik: Why are you talking about Unreal (which -- 2004?) engine? Is Thief DS based on any of those?
And so my question remains: is Thief DS playable with full or quasi full detail level with Intel GMA X3100 ?
Thanks ;)

TDS runs off a gutted version of the Unreal 2004 engine.
