v11.6.5.1
* Removed CrippledBurrick from web links
* Changed SouthQuarter web links to point to the FM page
* Removed Thief Underground web link
* Added Thief: Dark Fate web link (auto-translates to engilsh)
* Bug Fix: Original Thief3 would not launch from the loader (path error)
* Bug Fix: Get Mission Info would crash if zip file used unsupported compression method.
* Removed Test Zip File menu item (File status is only populated if error is encountered when attempting to extract files)
* Fixed number format for non-US OS's (at least I think so)
* Replaces dots '.' with underscores '_' in installed directory folder names to address a T3 issue. (You should rename installed game directories to replace any dots with underscores)

Thanks tolsen64 !
It works like a charme for me so far (for SS2).

Even though this place and your tool is related to "Thief", it doesn't mean you need to steal my shit without giving proper credit or at least say thanks. I'd appreciate it, if you'd spend some time yourself to get the external tools you need to get the job done instead of just cannibalizing ModernLoader's equipment.
Don't know what I'm talking about? You stole my version of mp3sdecoder, which is unique and only ships with ML. I doubt you even wasted a thought on buying a license for this commercial tool, which otherwise isn't usable in an unattended batch mode. Hell, I bet you didn't even ask for permission to use DLLRebuildIBT.dll. I could also venture on questioning why your tool suddenly uses the same workaround for T3's dotbug that ML uses...again...without giving credit. But I'm sure that's just as much of a coincidence as the rest of these occurrences...

Sorry. I didn't know the mp3 tool was yours (it was a temporary work-around anyway). I didn't know about any bug either with the dot in the path until someone told me about it and told me the fix.
Doesn't the IBT DLL belong to Shadowspawn? I've searched all over the internet for him and the only email address I can find for him is dead.
I've got another workaround for the dot bug in the works. sooo...
As soon as I get home tonight, i'll take down the download link until I can implement a new mp3 decoder method as well as the dot bug fix.

yeah, that was snobel. i read the post. he explicitly named me as the one who stumbled over it and found a solution for it first. a detailed explanation is available on my blog. there's also no way of encountering this bug unless you're loading FMs ML-style

it does and it's pretty easy to contact him on this forum. he replied within hours when i asked him for permission. he was last online today...so i don't really get your problem. the whole ibt-compression problem was developed and disccussed on ttlg. the first tools were released here. why would you look anywhere else to find shadowspawn?

i don't mind you using the dotbug fix. i just mind if people go around using the knowledge i generated without at least tipping the hat to those who wasted hours on end to trace those bugs, find a solution and explanations to shed some light on the reasons for such occurrences in the hope to prevent similar bugs in the future. i'm pretty sure that you know how time consuming bug hunting is, especially if you can't just google the solution or ask for help elsewhere.
it's all just about programmer's ethic.

Thank you tolsen64 - looking forward to trying it out! :)

Continuing on...
Now that my FM archives collection is behaving, I thought I would bring up my next experience, the "Unhandled Exception".
The mission manager works great for loading and playing the few T2 missions that I've tried so far. The following exception gets thrown every time when exiting from from Thief2:
************* Exception Text **************
System.InvalidCastException: Conversion from string "The_saves.zip" to type 'Double' is not valid. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.
at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ParseDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat)
at Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ToDouble(String Value, NumberFormatInfo NumberFormat)
This is definitely NOT a show stopper, just a small road bump in what is looking to be a great product.

Yeah. that's where I heard it. But I didn't go read your blog. He said "here's the problem". I didn't need to go read a blog to figure out how to replace a dot with another character. Anyhow, that's moot. Someone else has figured out another way around the bug. We're testing it right now and if it works, i'll be using that.

call me ignorant. I never even thought to search for a user here. Here's the response I received back when I tried to email him:

Well, I never went to programmer's school. Anyhow, the download is now disabled.

I just noticed more odd behavior. I don't know when this started, but I no longer get the "install Mission" button on the lower right corner of the Fan Mission Files tab. Even the Install Mission on a right-click is disabled. I've synchronized the file list a few times and even re-did the Get Selected Missions Info on the right-click. I'm currently using version 11.6.5.1. When using an older version (11.6.4.1), the Install button makes an appearance normally.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when upgrading, I've been simply replacing all files and folders except the mdb to avoid filling in the initial setup information. And I was assuming that your DB structure wasn't changing between versions.
Later...
So I tried replacing the mdb as well. The install button now shows up again. I guess this is okay since nothing too important is really stored except perhaps the games settings (so far). Just thought I would share.
