Welcome to the forum, Dale! I'm glad you came out of the shadows and decided to post. I look forward to seeing your Let's Plays and I envy you getting to play so many fantastic FMs for the first time.
I seem to remember other Let's Play editions out there on YouTube other than Fen's, but I can't recall the players' names at the moment. Meanwhile, Random_Taffer did quite a few which you'll find links to in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141423) this thread.
And I don't know if you'd be interested in something like this, but Klatremus has just posted the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143470) first video in what we hope will be a series of Let's Plays in which he is playing by the Supreme Ghost rules. If you are unfamiliar with that it basically means playing a mission with no knockouts or kills, without ever alerting anyone, in fact, and leaving things such as doors, keys, etc. exactly as you found them (re-locking doors for example) so that know one could ever know you'd been there.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing your videos. Have fun!

It'd be good to see LPs of missions that haven't been done yet and I've been mulling over adding LP links to the missions reviewed in the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124349) Review megathread so if you're stuck for ideas, you could always have a look there for reviewed missions and see what hasn't been done yet.

May I suggest something that I wish I had done years ago.
KEEP ACCURATE and extensive records of the FMs' you have played.
Computers today have the storage capacity that you shouldn't have to delete any FM. Come up with your own way to sort and store them. By type of mission or your personal rating of missions etc. You won't regret it.

Anyone here is welcome to put my video(s) mentioned by Tannar in any of their lists. I would definitely call it a Let's Play (though of the Supreme Ghost variety). I would never do blind LPs, but there will be more where (
http://youtu.be/4LDGd7YEgVk) LP Calendra's Cistern came from.
You have my best wishes for your let's plays Dale, we need more of those for fan missions.

My brother was writing an application specifically for this some time back (maybe 6 or 7 years). If there is interest I'll get the code from him and see if I can bring it up to speed for the community.
*Edit
I just got off the phone with him and he said it used his website to share the info, allowing the user to upload mission details so other's can import it if desired. Sounds like a fun project to me.

:thumb: Toss me your channel name when you get it going so I can link to it from mine.
As for other LPs, I know that (
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheMasterFoundry) Wizd3m is doing a review oriented timeline of all missions in order of date released. (
http://www.youtube.com/user/NexusTorvum) I'm doing something similar, but more emphasis on showcase with random factoids and community stuff of the time. (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-nZZ7TjuaSJqkGxrGORzmg) Deathstalker Deceased is doing the Iron Thief challenge (no saves) and is intending to do FMs too. (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0HgKN__ev-pdQGV8fHHzYQ) Looter was also doing Iron Thief, but hasn't posted in 9 months. (
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC50VEzuh44Wd3bGmZIUfSsA) ThiefFMguy was doing psuedo-speedruns on FMS, but hasn't posted in a year. (
http://www.youtube.com/user/yxlplig33) yxlplig33 has done some loot walkthroughs. (
http://www.youtube.com/user/ykcaks/) ykcaks has also done a number of different styles of thief vids. And then, klatre and Fen you already know.

I'd be interested, so I guess that's one vote. It sounds very similar to how Garrettloader is set up.

Thank you all for your kind replies. I've looked through several of these lists and in the end decided to start with the
Ruins of Originia - no doubt a very difficult but from what I've heard highly recommended campaign. What's more, there don't seem to be any videos of it at all, be it LP or walkthroughs.
Also, supreme ghosting certainly sounds interesting but I think I'll stick to the standard way for now, both because this mission is said to be very difficult and because it's a blind LP and I don't think my thieving skills are good enough to pull that off.
LP part 1 has just finished uploading: (

I'll welcome any tips you might give me :)

Watched a few minutes of your video Dale. Very nice work! :D
Nice and clear voice recording also. More of this, please!
I won't watch more of it, as Ruins of Originia is on my list of missions to play, and I don't like spoilers.

I've just watched the first 20 mins and had to laugh at your wish to watch a ghosting version. Klatremus was obviously listening. :)
I'll ditto the very nice clear recording. So much of what I've seen recently has been garbled and hard to understand so, well done and thank you. Enjoying it so far and maybe I'll get encouraged to try again.
