I recall picking up the mana seed but I'm not sure if I still have it.
As for the songs, it might be a good thing I missed that part because now I just got a copyright claim for the music playing in part 2 (Haunting & Heartbreaking -- Angelo Badalamenti) - silly copyright-obsessed Youtube :P

OMG... Seriously... It was flagged? Youtube can be such a pain sometimes...

Well the video wasn't taken down, it just said "you're using 3rd party content", I suppose it was something like a warning.
Anyway, I've gone ahead and renamed the wave file so it doesn't play in game for the next episodes (which is a shame as it really beautifully complemented the atmosphere, but I don't want to risk angering Youtube). I think all the other ambient tracks should be safe to use, right? I seem to have read somewhere that Seluah was a band whose members you were friends with :) It's interesting to note how that music affects my playing (I always feel like running and doing more action)
Oh and yes, since I haven't mentioned it here yet:

I just finished watching all of the Wicked Relic videos. I enjoyed them a lot, though there were times I wanted to scream at the screen because you missed something you should have seen. :D But that's to be expected when the person watching already knows the mission well. That's especially true here since I must have played this mission over 50 times. That's no exaggeration. But aside from those inevitable moments, I had a lot of fun watching you experience it.
I would like to make one observation though, if you don't mind. Having now watched the whole thing, I think I have a better feel for your play style, though this was only one mission so I don't expect it to be indicative of how you play all the time. But it seems to me that you have a tendency to go a bit too fast when you enter a new area and never really completely explore it. For example, when you entered the first floor of the Reliquary for the first time, you never really seemed to notice the two sets of double doors at each end of the room and never went through them. And each time you entered and left the Reliquary afterward, you still ignored those same doors. This was true in other location as well, such as Clarissa's bedroom where you missed a section of her room.
But it should be mentioned that this mansion is deceptive. It's much bigger than it looks and requires a lot of exploring. None of this is bad really, and it makes it more fun to replay a mission if there are still things to find and do. I just thought I'd mention it since you seem eager to improve your skills. I'd just say slow down a little bit and look around each room/area a bit more thoroughly.
Another thing I feel compelled to point out, since you seem to like getting helpful gameplay tips, is that when you acquire a custom weapon (such as the Shadowjack in this mission), it will not appear in your arsenal if you cycle through your weapons using the mouse wheel. You need to use the "Next weapon" and "Previous weapon" keys in order to bring it up. Again, this is true for all custom weapons. So when you thought you were still holding it, you were in fact only holding the normal blackjack. Once you put it away after first finding it, you never had it up again.
I hope you find my comments useful. You have a nice style of narrating and playing and it was a lot of fun to watch. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for making these.

Yes, I'm aware there must be moments like these but with the whole LP being a blind run, I'm afraid they are sometimes inevitable :D

That's a good point. I think the root of this problem is partly my lack of patience, which also sometimes causes me to run face-to-face into guards :D. But partly I think it's also my trying to balance the stealth part of the game with entertainment of a let's play, meaning I don't want to take things too slow lest it should become boring. Perhaps this is an unnecessary concern and slowing down the pace would actually make the whole thing much more entertaining, even if one or two episodes longer. I'm not sure. I'll keep it in mind to be more observant for sure, after all, I can always abuse the edit button later on :)

Ah yes, I noticed
my precious Shadowjack was gone when editing it. That's an important hint, thanks for that!

Yeah... I've been friends with the band members of Seluah for about 20+ years. We grew up together. I've even helped them sell CD's/MP3 because of RoO. They are playing this summer: (

I agree with Tanner. I loved seeing how you played the mission. Knowing how others play help increase the "Fun" level. The reactions you give are priceless. I just wish we had the technology we do now back then, maybe I wouldn't have to break up my missions because they were too big.
I also have two missions that I never released. :ebil: If I get Dromed working and fix the first missions objective bug (on Expert), I could let you play it. The Expert level on the first mission is bugged and it doesn't end the mission. The second mission works as far as I can tell, but the textures off in areas. All 3 conversations work. I'll check it out again with NewDark when I get time.
BTW: I know that many FM authors would hide water crystals in sinks, and fire crystals inside torches and fire sources.
As for the french speaking thieves... I imported French and I wasn't able to get a hold of the German version of the wav files. The Guild of Thieves were international...

It isn't a warning. That just means it auto-detected something that has a copyright attached to it and you won't be able to make any money off of that particular video. I could delve further into Youtube and all of their bs, but this isn't the place for it.
