Yes I can get a cylindrical quiver for £8, then put fabric over it. But I'm tempted to buy an art tube instead as they are pretty similar. I would have to alter the strap too, of course, so a lot of work to be done on that I think.
But that's the basic construction right there. I'll only be having 4 arrows in my quiver anyway.
I also ordered my LED light sticks last night, but only two. A blue one and a green one. So I am currently planning out the construction of my Gas and Water arrow. The Fire one will be slightly different, so I haven't decided on how to do that just get. I'll see if my original plan works first!

I was just thinking about it because we used to have a couple of dozen or so smallish graphics tubes and I was thinking they would look quite quiverish with a little adaptation. We did a massive clear out recently so I don't know if they were chucked because so much stuff was dumped. But I'm going home next week so I'll have a look and see if I kept any.

Wow, really? Thank you in advance! I have just got some scrap pieces of perspex today cut into thin strips. They will be form a hexagonal prism when I hot glue them together and hopefully house my LED sticks I just bought. They will then be secured to the arrows when I get them.

In the last 8 weeks, we've disposed of tons of coloured perspex (all colours) and a box of outsize, unworn, leather clothing (not mine!) to a charity shop (which could have been cut up for various things) and I have a horrible feeling that your fabric/equipment shopping list is going to comprise everything I've just got rid of. :laff: :grr:
[Edit] I should warn you that I have a habit of disappearing from time to time when I lose internet access but it should be OK for the next few weeks. But just in case I don't get back to you . . .

I view that as an incentive, you know.

*sigh*
Yes, please I'm getting tired of the sexist remarks, lets all try to get along shall we?
This cosplay *will* be going ahead, I assure you!
I just made a start on one of the trickiest parts this evening...those dreaded arrows.
I cut up some strips of perspex and hot glued them all together in to a hexagonal prism shape. Then I painted with a thin layer of nail varnish. They will look better once the lights are in I promise. Now, how will I attach them to the arrows themselves? Hmm, I haven't thought of that yet!
