Hello! I'm very new to Dromed, and I was wondering if any of you could help me.
As part of a project I'm working on, I need to be able to freely explore missions in both Thief Gold and 2. A large part of what I'm trying to do involves observing NPCs paths, so I can't simply remove them from the missions. I've had a great deal of success in Thief 2's Dromed, as the Game dropdown menu allows AI awareness to be toggled on and off, but Thief Gold has proven more difficult. I was wondering if there was a way to toggle AI awareness in Thief Gold's Dromed, or else run Thief Gold missions in a newer version of Dromed. Thanks. :)

Use the command aiawareofplayer in DromEd's command window. It will toggle on/off with each use.

For some reason, I can't seem to find the command window. :|
EDIT: I figured out a bit of a fix for this.
1. COPY your entire installation of Thief 2 to a new folder.
2. COPY all files (excluding folders) from your installation of Thief Gold to this new folder, replacing all files as prompted EXCEPT the files for Dromed and its Menus.cfg.
3. Replace the entire contents of the COPY RES folder with COPIES of the files in the Thief Gold RES folder.
4. Run Dromed.
So far, I've had no problems, and it's running great!

Might want to check out the (

Interesting! Never tried awareness toggle. Always used sleep all. Thanks

One problem with Sleep All is that any conversations you have set up won't work, because your actors are "sleeping."

Also the mission feel really empty. Tried the toggle, its much better!

Also sleep all isn't just an editor setting, it saves with the mission.
Basically it's all-around bad and holy crap people actually use it?
