Clearing - thanks for the hint about the Talisman.
I'm now playing the second mission, Clockwise, on Insane. I have made a
Forge key
but don't know where to use it. I have found the Lord of Time, and been given a
Puzzles key
, but again no clue as to where to use it. The lack of in-game clues is becoming frustrating, especially as I'm obliged to ghost everywhere.
Where to next, please?
Puzzle key - there is a locked door on second floor (near library).
Forge key - afterwards.
Thanks, but now I'm stuck at the third puzzle. I seem to have chosen the correct clock, revealing a button and clearing the exits. There's another button in an alcove behind me, with some broadhead arrows. But neither button seems to do anything.
You have chosen the correct clock. Go back outside from huge hourglass (climb the rope arrow).
pwl, there are NO any saved games in campaign's ZIP archive. Looks like you have a conflict with FMs installed before. Try to install Thief OM via DarkLoader, clean some subfolders (especially STRINGS), then install the campaign again.

To anyone else stuck here:
Return to the upper part of the third puzzle, i.e. the upper part of the "sand timer", but do not go all the way back outside. There should now be a button on one wall. Stand on the opposite ledge to the button and use a broadhead to hit it, this will open a panel behind you to reveal a door. If you have pressed the button behind the quiver in the puzzle room down below the correct number of times - and sorry, I don't know how many times that is - the door should be open and you can simply leave. If the door is closed and unfrobbable, you will have to go back down and hit the quiver button again.
To leave the passage behind the door and get back into Lord Time's "tower", I had to use a speed potion. Putting the Knight statue on the pressure pad did not keep the door into the tower open long enough.
One time is quite enough.
Marbrien, about knight:
stand on the floor plate and throw the knight to the doorway to block the door in "open" position. Also the knight may fix the plate pressed if you play on Beginner diff. level.

I was pretty foolish to give all my original Thief Golds away, having purchased the Platinum Collection that only has TDP and T2. Why they did that, I'll never fathom.
I managed to get through some incompatibilities in Golden Book part 1, but it doesn't segue to part two. I can always play "The Last Page" separately, but what about the third mission in the campaign?
Is that available by itself?
EDIT: The Eternal Candle is the 3rd part! Nevermind!

Yes.
Don't forget to look credits video in the campaign. It's cool ;)
