So.... I should ask for a refund?

My copy is the same as Aja's. I also have a standard rectangular box of Gold with the 2 disks and cd sized manual. The cd case slipsheet says that it's part of the Premier collection.
As far as the refund goes, you could try I guess. It would depend on the sellers definition of complete.
Just curious, how many people here have the trapezoid box of Thief 2 and what came in it? I have two copy's of Thief 2 but they are just the standard rectangular box.
The contents were the two b & w coloured disks, cd case sized manual, paper ad for eidosnet, paper ad to win a panasonic palm cinema and a blue booklet advertising eidos's games.

I wouldn't bother. You aren't missing much; the disc is mostly Tomb Raider and game videos.

I have a trapezoid Thief 2, but it's still sealed :p However I have all the contents too - cardboard sleeve with 3 discs (2 discs of the game, 1 Eidos demo #7 disc) and manual, Eidos registration card for the game, Eidos "games with character" advertisement booklet and some advertisement papers.
My trapezoid TGold also includes Eidos demo disc (earlier issue, not 7), and also Thief Gold supplemental "manual" (additionally to the main manual in the cardboard sleeve), and nice card which shows default controls.

My trapezoid Thief 2 box has the digipack with Eidos demos 7, an Eidos registration card, a $10 FUTURE REBATE for THIEF II: THE METAL AGE (never got one for Gold, though), the same Eidos promo book, and a card from something called Game Cave ($10 off!).

I forgot to say in my earlier post that I have the keyboard layout card as well.

I've got the Trap T2 with the 4-way fold out cardboard case containing the 2 games discs, the manual & the Eidos Demos disc #8. The only other thing I got was the Eidos reg card.

I really should have kept a few of the Thief Gold versions I sent to various members in the years past.
I had about 15 copies of Gold and TMA that I got from a "discontinued stock" warehouse.
Currently I have the Trap boxes for my games( TDP, TMA, GOLD), and 2 copies of GOLD in 4-fold, 3 copies of 1.14 TDP in bi-fold, 3 copies of TDP 1.33 in bi-fold, 3 copies of TMA 1.18 in 4-fold, 5 copies of TMA 1.07 in the 4-fold, and two of the Dual Platinum packs in the rectangular boxes.
the trap box TDP came with a manual and a keyboard card, the GOLD with a manual, a booklet on the development team and a demo disc.

Surely someone here must have a spare demo disc? I'll give you $20 for it (plus P+P).

Mate, it's just a demo.
