My comments were directed more so at Weasel, not you particularly. He seems to think it's a bad thing that I don't want to humbly accept an ISO or whatever that is, that I "wouldn't care about the data on the disc at all, just the physical object". Why not? I want the complete item, which I was convinced I had purchased.

I'm sorry if I was out of line. I guess I had the impression that you wouldn't care about the contents for two reasons:

I wasn't trying to make a statement about your morals. I'm a big fan of several Eidos franchises including Thief, but I don't care about the contents of that demo disc myself. I have no need to play the demos that are on it.

I haven't complained, it was too late before I came on here and found out that there was actually supposed to be a demo. I wouldn't play it, obviously, but it's history, isn't it? It's a bit shit if I get a photocopy of the label or whatever it is. Yeah, it's all good Weasel, I sort of overreacted.:thumb:

If you mean demo of Thief2, the Eidos demo disc that was in my Thief Gold box didn't contain it, there were demos of other Eidos games.

hey ive got that box set of thief gold. baought it way back when lol, ive got the demo disc and all. still in good condition. the box is a little rough but after about 8 years and it being in my top 5 games of all time i guess thats a given. i also own original releases of thief DP and thief 2.... did anyone get a case or anything with there thief 1 or 2? only my gold came in a case. the other two where sleaved. and no its not the platnum edition. there the original release discs. and info would be cool!
also i really wanted that Thief 3 DVD edition that came with some Video cards way back when. im looking to get my hands on one. any one out there got one?
