Hello everybody! I have a question about Thief Gold :-) Does this game support Glide API? I remember CD with Thief: Dark project - last time I seen this CD was 1999, and there was a label "3DFx" on it. And if it's true, can I run Thief: The Dark project/Thief Gold in 3DFx mode (using some of Glide wrappers)? I found Direct3D mode only at this moment... Thank you :-)

while 3Dfx cards were the best for running Thief at the time, the only 3D api that was ever supported was D3D.

I didn't know about that... So I was sure it supports Glide and there is much better graphics and effects in this mode :-) Like a Need for speed 3 - hot pursuit (it looks much better when using voodoo2 option).

it's a common mistake - a 3Dfx logo does not mean that the game supports glide, it just means it runs great on/is optimized for a 3Dfx card. sort of an equivalent of today's nvidia twimtbp. the api doesn't really matter.
