Just wondering if anyone has gotten any widescreen resolutions to work yet? Searched quite a bit but didnt find anything. Thanks

No, the only resolutions outisde of those listed in the menu that it only supports are 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.
These are held in the executable itself.
I wonder if hex-editing an existing resolution (something like 640x480) would work - I doubt it, but it might be worth a try...
(I'm mostly mumbling to myself at this point)

I know that 856x480 is a 16:9 aspect ratio resolution. Might that be possible in your test? Anyway as of now the game is playing in widescreen at 800x600 and is slightly stretched. Even with that said the game actually looks amazing on my 50" DLP. Enough I guess I can live with the slight stretching.

How do you change the resoultion to 1600 x 1200? Couldn't find the spot in any of the INI's.

go to the CAM.cfg file. ;)
should be there under something like - screen_size
or something like that :D

Open cam.cfg from the Thief Gold directory using Notepad. Alter the line game_screen_size to be game_screen_size 1280 1024 or game_screen_size 1600 1200. Save the file and play the game!
