I seem to remember an easy way to fix this problem in the past but I must have forgotten and there is no mention of it on the FAQ.

Anyway, I just re-installed TG on my old PC. I think its a Pentium 4.

So installation goes well. Game starts up and everything. All the cutscenes work well. But the game freezes the moment i get dropped in front of Bafford's place. Doesnt even work for a second.

I slightly remember a small third party patch that fixed this problem right away. Maybe I am completely wrong.

Any solutions?

A little more info would be helpful regarding your computer configuration. Operating system, number of processors etc.

It looks at first glance as if it may be a hyperthreading issue. More info here:
