Hi, I've got a serious problem with Thief Gold. I'm starting the game with thieffixedg.exe (the solution for Direct 3d error) and when I load my savegame (the last mission, I've went through all the game to get this thing...), the game gets like a double black screen and gives me the usual WinXP error with send/don't send. When I start a new game or play the tutorial or load a savegame in the middle of a mission everything is fine and runs without any problems. I've got a dual core processor, but I don't think this is the source of the problem, since I always turn off one of the CPUs when playing Thief. The other specs are GeForce 7900GS (updated drivers, but Thief ran fine on 'em till now), 1024 RAM and about 140GB HDD. Please help, I want to finish the game before playing Thief 2. Cheers. :erg:

I'm not sure I understand your issue. Sounds like you are saying that one of your saves is causing a crash, whereas starting a new game or loading any other save is fine, it is just this one save?
By the way, you are posting in the wrong forum. This probably should have been posted in the legacy gaming technical help forum.
P.S. Note to moderator: I hope you don't get mad at me for saying that, I'm just trying to help. If you don't like it though, I'll stop doing it.
