thieves' guild is frustrating and overly long, but mage towers is goddamned ANNOYING.
especially the air tower bug
What air tower bug?
I find that TDP and T:G are generally much harder than the sequels.
Especially when it comes to getting the talismans or that accursed Thieve's Guild

also, im not sure if this is true for TDP or not, but theres a "secret" mission that you can play thru DromEd that is basically Baffords Mansion with all the different strange things that can be done when one goes all willy nilly with the Dark Engine. :cheeky: I enjoyed that mission most, personally!
Blooper Reel.

there's a serious bug in which one of the floating rocks in the air tower does not actually appear- thus preventing you from continuing. i had known about it, but had yet to run into it until my last playthrough. i wish i had known that if you save BEFORE entering the air tower and the damn rock ain't there you can just reload- but if you save WHILE in the air tower, you're fucked.

I have looked in every store over here for a copy of Thief Gold and it's impossible to find. If anyone has a spare copy or would like to sell theirs PM me please.

I live in South Africa and was trying to avoid the amazon route. Last time I bought a $10 book and it cost me $30 with delivery.

If you have friends that live abroad, you can always get your stuff shipped to them and then to you. Sometimes it becomes much cheaper than shipping directly.

Just a thought:
Has "The Song of the Cavern" has anything to do with "the Phantom in the Opera"?
I think there are many similarities... well, except that keeper's little grotto...
Underground passage...
Former owner seek vengeance...
you know, the sort of things.
