It's been ages since i posted here
yey - i have thief gold now - for £10 :)
anyway, its all good stuff, a little blander so far than thief 2 but what is bugging me is that the gaurds seem so stupid compared to like thief 2 (or it could be cos i've been playing thievery too much). And the graphics are crapper.
I saw on another thread ages ago you could get the models from thief 2, the AI and all the textures etc. I have looked on the thief circle site and the links are broken to the downloads (eg taken off) and i cant find any other links to thief sites :D
What is the best thief gold improvement patch, and do they replace all textures and modles and skins or just a few of them ?

To my knowledge, there is no AI update. But the AI isn't bad. I never noticed much of a difference between Thief Gold and Thief 2 in terms of the AI.

Edit: lots of other patches there as well, including the "play TG missions on T1" patche, the texture upgrade patches, and various official patches for T1 and T2.

Also, I have the hardware one now ty, it must have only went down for a short while strangely.
By play tg missions on t1 i assume you mean the fan missions? as otherwise that would be pretty illegal :D I have thief gold now anyway so np for me :)

I have downloaded darkloadrer too, as it says its best to
sorry if this is a retard question, but i assum i set C:\thiefgold as the thief directory, but what do I set as the map directorys?!?!
Also, is there a patch for thief gold? if so where can I get it - I have the premier collection one
