I think it should be good opening a thread about all the hints related to Thief Gold.

According to the (http://home.online.no/~ajnilsen/hn/list_bafford.htm) Klatremus's lootlist, in the first mission, "LORD BAFFORD'S MANOR", there should be a necklace in a sewer control room, I can't find that room. Where is it?

Only if you have the Sceptre. You gotta get in the sewers and explore the surrounding city before entering the mansion for the easiest way, or get outside and explore before you get the Sceptre.
