Texture patch link broken - was looking to upgrade my Thief Gold to Thief 2 textures, but websites have not been updated for Thief 1 mods I suppose.

What webpage does the link send you to? As you probably know, there have been server crashes and not everything's been restored.

You taffers DO know there is an actual bow upgrade in TDP? It's not visible in DromEd but one can get to it in-game.

I found this guide useful:

In addition, there's the Dark Engine widescreen tool you can find here:

As mentioned in the above threads, it's useful even if you have a 4:3 monitor since you can specify any resolution, and I've always found Thief benefits from running as high res as possible. I install everything in the order specified in the above optimisation guide (1st link), and then install the widescreen hack last of all.
I used all the graphics upgrades on Thief Gold recently - the discrepancy between low-res textures and the fine objects in the Enhancement Pack took a little getting used to, but overall I was happier with the upgrades than without them. That goes for the Thief 2 world textures too - I compared, and found I liked Thief Gold better with them.
Thief 2 + Enhancement Pack + NTEX pack fares better in terms of consistency, and it looks great.

^ In The Metal Age, you can find a similar one in Karas' locked room (in last mission). Defeats the point of it, but oh well..
