Thief: how many languages??

I'm curious as to how many languages Thief has officially been translated to. I know of English, French, German... but there must be more languages

Officially, or all of them, period?

I know people talked about things like a Polish and Russian translations that were apparently outsourced (I seem to recall reading about), so they weren't very great translations, and a few fans got together to try to do their own better translation.

I'm also thinking Italian and Japanese, and Spanish of course.

Places where there are a sizable number of fans that wouldn't necessarily be able to understand another language I'm thinking are likely candidates (e.g., like we know Scandinavians know English better as a second language, generally speaking, than any other non-English-speaking region, while Japan is closer to the bottom of the list, for a developed country).

There are now excellent official polish translations (by Bukary) of all the Thief games.

In french, taffer wasn't translated as there aren't any equivalent, and they didn't took the risk to create a new word for it (hopefully). So mostly it's translated as "thief" when refering to Garrett and thieves, or things like "vilain" or "idiot" when it concerns guards.

I discovered the "taffer" word in fms :)

Official russian version of Thief2 was released just a week or so ago.
Very timely release, even 10 years haven't passed yet! :)

We used the word (neologism) "łacher" in Polish translations. Mix of "łach/łachudra" (clout/scamp) and "er" (this suffix can be found in criminal jargon, it means that someone is doing something). And because of supposed ethymology of this word we also wanted it to correspond with our "Szachraj" [łach](Trickster).
