Hi.
I just installed Thief II on my laptop and it seems the game runs too fast, when I mean FAST it's like Garrett is constantly under a speed potion effect, so it's hard to handle especially when I want to sneak up on a guard or cross a thin passage above the ground. Also when I look away from a NPC its movement speed increases considerably (I can hear it by the sound of the footsteps).
So my question is, could the game possibly be "slowed down" without changing any options in the advanced display properties, or direct 3d acceleration? I really don't want to use one of those little "slow my system down"-programs or any form of emulation.
My config is the following:
Windows Xp Home Edition SP2 / Intel centrino 1.6Ghz / Ati mobility radeon x300 / 512mb RAM / latest catalyst and other drivers installed.
I already tried some things like reducing hardware acceleration and changing lines in the "cam.cfg" file, but nothing worked so far.

Sorry I was so distracted by the issue I didn't even see the red thread ( ;) )
Thanks for the hint, next time I'll slap myself it should help :cheeky:
