hi, im having problem starting the game,all i get is a black screen and an error
saying direct3d driver does not accurately report memory...i tried deleting the semicolon from safe texture manager and now i just get a black screen without the error message.Can someone help me?

that won't necessarily solve his problem, though... he followed the relevant FAQ, but still has problems.

I see everything.
If the black screen is occurring as soon as you start the game itself, rather than when you try to go into a mission, then the problem could lie with it trying to play the intro videos. <a href="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75031#movies4">This entry in the FAQ</a> might solve that problem.
But otherwise we'll need some more details about exactly where in the process (from starting the game to entering the mission) the black screen hang occurs.

i just find out that my usb wheel was cousing the trouble,after i unplugged it
the game started with no problem. thanks anyway

Huh. That's something I don't think has ever been identified before. What model is it? And can you confirm that it was the cause? That is, plug it in again and the game stops loading, remove it and game will load?

yeah that's wright ,after i plugged it again the same problem occurred,i couldn't get the game to start,well it did start but i couldn't start the first mission,after loading the screen just went black, then i unplugged again and presto the game is working and i read somwhere that the game is having problems with any usb devices.And hey i'm sorry for my english i'm from slovenia.
