I remember renaming the crf files to zip and browsing them, especailly the sounds. I was looking for hidden/unused clips (like there are in Deus Ex).

As so many of us have.

If you just double-click on a CRF and then tell Windows to always open them with your archive program of choice, you don't have to rename anything.

Or f^$k windows and just use 7-zip to open them....

It's as if you
almost understood what I said.

I read too much into this part "If you just double-click on a CRF and then tell Windows to always open them" and missed the part about using an archive program of choice.:nono: (I thought you were trying to say use the windows zip feature, which is not really that great.)

No offense sNeaksieGarrett, but maybe you should slow down and thoroughly read the posts you reply to. This is the 2nd thread in a row I read today in which you have done this. The other one was the 'Thief Gold: NOT ENOUGH SPACE' thread.

Sorry guys, I've had this dangling in front of you for ages. Where does time go?
I've attached a beta - I don't think the 'replace' function works and neither does the 'unique pallette count' but everything else should. Maintain the directory structure when you unzip or it won't run.
Currently supports PCX WAV TXT .H .C JPG CFG, I think.
You'll need the .NET framework 3.5 installed. It's by far from finished but I've left the plugins and the plugin base classes unobfuscated so you can create your own plugins if you like (Derive plugins from HandlerPluginBase, take a look at one of the plugins with reflector and you'll get the idea. Bung your plugin into \Plugins).
Feel free to submit requests, features, fixes and I'll look at them when I get time.
As always, use at your own risk - I'm not accountable for any data loss that occurs as a result of using the attached program.
Download now in first post.

Thank you so much! I can find a use for this, no problem. Now if an object viewer could be included as a plugin I'll be laughing.
Nice touch with the 'please wait' messages, btw. :D
