Very nice mission !
In particular I enjoyed the physics with the boards
-jumped to the board in the tower and - surprise - went all the way down along with it. Nice trap! :wot:
-first I did not know what to do with the dead thief until I started throwing things at the board until it would come down, too. Along with the goodies.
:cheeky:
I would like to see more things like this !
I played some other mission recently where the paintings on the wall would drop if you got to close.
Bad thing if you stick to walls in order to keep away from the guards :D

Help please! I'm stuck in this little room at the beginning of the mission, where is the key to unlock the gate? All I see is some barrels, a bottle and watching that guard pacing back and forth in the wine cellar is driving me crazy! He doesn't even have a key to pickpocket from him.

I found an old Q & A by Gonchong. It says that you already have lockpicks on you.

I even tried to use the lockpicks, when I highlight and click on the door, it attempts to open it, not go into lockpicking mode.

Nightwalker is correct, you should be able to pick open the cell door. As this is the second T3 FM you've had difficulties with I suggest you install a fresh copy of T3, sound like something could be broken with your current copy.

Well, everything else is working just fine. I have 3 other fan missions that I played and no problems found with those. So, it's hard to say what could be the problem with both the "Cabot" and Special Vintage" fan missions that can't seem to run very well.

Stats:
* Expert difficulty
* 40 minutes
* 97% loot
* 0 hints needed
Elements I liked:
* At the beginning I thought it would only be rooms and corridors. Discovering the outside areas was neat.
* I liked the hidden entrance to Lord Boarson's bedroom and the location of the dead thief that died in that place.
Elements that could be improved:
* Garrett drunk, slipping on soap and having lockpicks tucked between his butt cheeks for emergencies? What a clown fiesta is this? That tonally clashes with the character presented in the original games.
* The architecture in the mission is a bit simple. Likely because this is an early mission from when authors were just starting to release the first missions for T3.
* It is possible to climb over the cart that blocks off the final area. I got to the other side after a couple of attempts and ended up in an area I was not supposed to get to. Thankfully, it was also possible to get back to the mission proper.
* You get prompts on the usage of fire arrows, moss arrows, health potions and oil flasks when you pick up the first of either item, but not for flash bombs. I could do without any prompts.
* After the mission ends it loads into day three of the original campaign. I am curious if authors of later missions found another solution to end a mission. Back to the menu would be ideal.
