Yep, it's a cheap techno bit with thief audio clips. Hardly a marriage made in heaven, but they were put together into one *cough* song/piece/bit-o-noise.
You hardly ever post, and THAT's your inspired post after these many months?:o sNeaksie FTW!

Okay, I suppose I deserve some criticism. Keep in mind that I didn't claim i was a professional in the first post though, so that kind of harshness isn't very nice.\
Btw: The revision version is a tad bit different, so if you want the most up to date, redownload the file.

To NightBlade with you!

I don't think I'm good enough to be working with Nightblade. Not sure what they want.

Pardon me for expressing myself, but if I'm not wrong, people who post in a forum, are pretty much opening themselves up to criticizm. I merely gave my opinion, and if sNeaksieGarrett, can't take it, perhaps he should think twice before publicizing his work in the future. Unfortunately, it seems that it was other users and NOT sNeaksieGarrett who took offence, which really begs the question--why the commotion at all?
On the other hand, perhaps I could have opened my post in a more constructive way by asking how techno is supposed to inspire the mood produced by thief-style 'steampunk' music, as they are, in my opinion, artistically complete opposites.

At no point did sNeaksieGarrett ask for any criticism or feedback of any kind. People in these forums aren't going to take kindly to that kind of response to a novice who dedicated some time from their life to contribute to this community. If you don't have anything constructive to add to this thread, then I would ask that you don't post. This forum is, and will continue to be, a place where any person of any skill level can share their contributions to the Thief community without having to worry about harsh criticism.
sNeaksieGarrett, really nice job putting this together! How long have you been writing techno and what program are you using?

Expressing yourself is certainly expected & welcomed here. However, this is Thief. We are nice people, with happy feelings. Constructive criticism is always preferred to straight slams. Don't just tell me it sucks. Tell me why you think it sucks, as you just did.

Agreed, I don't think it was the fact that you criticized it so much as how you did so.
