Thief: its like a warm blanket.

Im currerently playing "a sorrowfull farwell" and I am reminded of how much I enjoy thief, its like a warm comforting blanket, I listen to the sounds, look at the textures and architecture and I feel a sense of well being and warmth.

I had athored and co-authored a lot of the TDM missions, but nothing stirs my heart like a well made T2 mission. I am currently standing still listening to the outside ambient, with the snow and the foot falls..... and I am utterly lost in the moment........

I know exactly what you mean.
I think of Garrett, The City, the places, the story, the music.... and it feels like I've been there. It feels like I've stood in Garretts Apartment, I've wandered the streets listening to the city sounds, I personally was in Lord Baffords Manor cutting down his banners :cheeky:

Makes me feel all warm. My secret love for Garrett and the the world of Thief.

I have the same fuzzy feeling when I think of Morrowind. Walking under those huge mushrooms, the music, the exoticness...

I agree, this time of the year is perfectly suited to play Thief. Especially since it's getting dark so early...
