I can send you my 6 years old backup CD. :sly:
ZylonBane on 9/3/2006 at 14:17
I didn't say I never played it.
Apparently some people need things explained to them...
Rogue Keeper on 9/3/2006 at 15:32
Gotcha!
I didn't suggest you never played it.
ZylonBane on 9/3/2006 at 16:09
Yes you did. Why would I need your old backup CD if I already had a copy?
Rogue Keeper on 9/3/2006 at 16:37
Fine. You keep your backup CD and I'll keep mine!

If there was a Thief 4, I would like it to be something like this;
(First of all I know that this will upset many of you, so please accept that this is only MHO.)
Garrett has taken the young girl from the last movie clip,(insert Girl's name here,) as his apprentice. They do few missions together; Garrett has never like thieving in company, as far as I can tell. The Girl is very self-dependant. The player has the choice of playing as Garrett or the Girl. Climbing Gloves have been outlawed, replaced with rope arrows, and Garrett has remembered how to swim.
After the fall of the Keepers, Garrett has begun to inadvertantly keep the balance of the City. Things seem to be going OK, until something dreadful happens. The Baron, having lost the war with Blackbrook, returns to The City, with an angry Blackbrook army hot on his heels. The City is besieged, and during the violence the Hammers and Pagans take advantage of the chaos and attempt to sieze power. There is both civil and international war in most areas of The City. During the Chaos, Garrett has but one choice; he needs to find some of the suriving keepers, and save the City again.
P.S
I am aware that there is no evidence that Thief 4 will ever be made. In fact, I just wanted an excuse to write something creative about Thief! Still, I think this plot is pretty cool, though I know some (or perhaps most) of you will disagree,

personally, i think a new thief would b good, just change the style that DS used, it WAS kinda crappy, the 3rd person thing helped out a bit, but the gameplay was choppy. and i think a 'modernized' thief would be kinda moronic, of course then again, i am a big fan of medieval games. :rolleyes: i think they should do the graphics engine better, and improve gameplay and physics. but, seeing as thief is kind of a 'Unlucky' series (both companies that made it went down the toilet, as it were), it is kind of unlikely, but who knows? maybe a dev from ttlg / ion storm could rise from the ashes and make a new thief thatll kick more ass than the originals, which would be a bit of a difficult task. 1 thing: if ur gonna make a thief / gta cross-breed, make sure that GTA game is San Andreas and not 3 or Vice City! cuz thats what DS felt like it was meant to be, what with all the city walking and whatnot. (w00t w00t, city walking! big new feature!...) and for bejesus' sake, more rooftops!! we snipers demand that we be given rooftops to dispatch our foes!! hell, i could go on 4ever, but that just aint gonna happen (excuse the vernacular), dont got that kinda time, and dont got that kinda patience. :thumb:
