I can see why so many would say that Name of the Rose was very thiefsy atmospherically. I fast-forwarded through a lot of it, though and then felt like I had to repent for an hour after. :eek:

It's not a movie but a certain Doctor Who episode (for any fellow British taffers) reminded me a lot of Thief 2. Obviously Rise of The Cybermen was set in a modern world, but they both have a maniacal, powerful leader, robots, a theme about a man who thinks machines are superior to biological creatures, a sinister urban setting, a technological level greater than you would expect given the time period and a cruel way of making the robots. I wonder if Russel T. Davies ever played Thief...
