This is for any thief game that might have problems running on a multicore system. Set the path to the .exe file and it should set it to run on a single core. I haven't tested it with any thief games though.
edit: not working with Thief 2 demo. Crashes at startup. Ne'er mind.
edit2: works with the Thief 3 demo.

The app wasn't specifically written for Thief games if that's what you mean, but it doesn't work with Thief 2 unfortunately so probably not much use.

For Vista and Win7 there's a command:
%COMSPEC% /C start /affinity 1 thief2.exe
Save it as *.cmd file or paste into the shortcut's Target field and that's it.

Thanks, though I found a fix for the thief 2 crashing problem. Might be worth a try if the usual methods fail.
