Sorry, biker, it's still not going to happen for me. By "vicarious" I meant I won't be able to enjoy the meet personally, but by through all of you who do and share pictures and anecdotes (and/or blogs and tweets!). So far, nobody's video-recorded sharable portions of these events ('twould take some time to edit it, and upload the choice bits for the other attendees to approve first, too, so it's not surprising). If I could, I'd make a digital ShadowMeet scrapbook.

Summer would be better, I'll have a few free weekends then and also it would give other people plenty of time to plan this, I think it would work out if everyone gave lifts and came along in pairs or groups. Nickie and Sluggs live pretty close for example, I hope both those taffers come along :)

As long as no pics are taken without permission, and attendees see them first. Also, all the heads could be out of frame...on purpose.:p

(Just a thought.....I am away from mid July to Mid sept...I have a small spider mine in Corfu and I spend the summer there.)
