I just finished my first Thief 3 movie. It basically tells the beginning of the story. I'm planning on creating more movies but first I want to know what other people think about it.

It's about 200 MB and 30 minutes long.

I rather liked this, i think you've done a good job with it. :thumb: :thumb: I watched it from start to finish and never got bored of it, and found myself wanting more at the end. Hoorah! :D
I'm definately looking forward to the next installment. :thumb: :thumb:

someone google video it. i'm not pulling down 200mb.

I don't want to reduce the quality to reduce the filesize. If I reduce the quality, you won't be able to figure out what's going on in some scenes. Besides, it shouldn't take to long to download if you got a decent connection.
Thanks for the feedback, sluggs.

Really, I loved it. I thought it was worth the waiting. You did a good job, with the switching of camera's when people were talking, and the voice of Garrett in the background while walking the streets of South Quarter. Please continue, can't wait until the [creepy music=true] Shalebridge Cradle [/creepy music]

so is this gameplay video or what?

I enjoyed your movie. Nice camera cuts and angles. And I'm glad you did not focus on the poor ragdoll physics of the falling bodies.
Props for using one of my favorite tunes in the closing credits.
Cheers,
Martek

Thanks for the feedback. If you got any suggestions, especially about camera angles, please tell me. The camera in this game is very limiting for movie making so any help concerning this will be appreciated.
S_Hole, this is mainly a gameplay video but I also used some of the cinematics that you see ingame.

Grrr! I really, really want to see it, especially after all the feedback, but no matter how I download the file it ends up corrupted! >:(
BlackAlpha on 17/9/2006 at 18:34
You sure it's corrupted? It's a .RAR file. Use a program like WinRAR (free) to open it. Then you must extract it like a .zip file. Close all programs while downloading, might help.
