(

When the movie hasn't been downloaded for seven days, it will get automagically deleted! I won't be uploading it a third time. It shouldn't be down to me to bring you this, but the author. :p

Sorry for not replying for so long. Like somebody else already guessed, real life has caught up with me. I'm doing my last year at school so I'm kind of busy with homework and stuff. I don't got time and to be honest I don't really want to make another movie. With the little time I had, I created another movie for my clan. Now I got no time again.
Whenever you create something you want to make it perfect. You want to keep adjusting it until it's perfect. But there are 2 problems that stop you from doing that: Time and Resources. You are forced at some point to release your project when you think it's "good enough" or when you are out of resources/time.
First of all I don't got time but my biggest problem is the limited camera controls. I'm no modder so I can't change that. I'm not even sure if it's "moddable" without screwing up the whole game. Without some decent camera controls I can't make a good movie.
I released this movie because I thought it was "good enough". Another reason is that it took me so damn long to create it and I didn't just want to waste all of that time so I thought that I might aswell release it. Although I think that this movie is "good enough" for release, the truth is that this movie is REALLY FAR from perfect. But it's the best I can do with this game. That disappoints me and that's why I decided to abandon this project.

Hang on a minute, I can upload it to the same place the original file was! Why didn't I think of that earlier? :eww:
That cracks me up everytime I read it! :D

That's totally understandable. I'm just glad you stopped by to tell us you abandoned the project so we won't have to keep waiting for something that'll never come. :thumb:

Thanks for dropping by. I just popped into this thread to see if the file is still being downloaded or not. I see it was last downloaded 8 hours ago, so it's still available for download. :D
Yeah, I'm pretty sure making a movie like that takes a long time and I understand too. It's a pity you can't make more, but what can you do?
Anyway, thanks for the movie BA. It was great! :thumb:

PLEASE continue the good work!
Even if it isn't perfect, it's great fun watching the whole story.

Currently downloading it. I tried several links but all were dead, and now I found one. How long did you take to create this? 30 minutes of actual movie is pretty long for a pet project. Looking forward to finally see it. :)

You can use Sluggs' link to download it.
It took me about 3 weeks to create it.

Already downloaded it. I could only watch a few seconds, because I had to go. Only three weeks? WOW! That's pretty fast for 30 minutes of movie. I have to watch it. Quite curios. :)

BlackAlpha! I'm glad you let us know what was going on. I now own TDS, so I've been able to get the story. Before that, I was desperate (sheesh) for information 'cause I'm working on the Thief Encyclopaedia Project. Your movie gave me several pieces of information I had not been able to find elsewhere. The gratitude in my earlier post is still relevant today. I'm sorry this didn't pan out for you.

Could someone upload this to Youtube so that it doesn't expire and it's much more userfriendly to watch?
