I'd say he's more like the Hogfather (or Father Christmas) in his rather unusual methods of entering.

As in penetration?

You're not going to mark more threads this way, are ya?
Snake on 4/8/2009 at 08:32
No I'm not, promise. I actually found this thread in a search, I didn't realise it was still very active, assumed it was older. Continue your normal conversation, I'll save it for the enlightened world of comm chat.

Hey quick off topic question, because you seem like a guy that knows a thing or two about a thing or two.... what do you know regarding the smith-in-exile? Theres been debate about this and I never fully understood this term. My understanding is that he was a Hammerite who wrote extensively on events around the time of the cataclysm and the haunted cathedral... Is this right?
jtr7 on 4/8/2009 at 09:45
Correct. He seems to have been a first-hand eye-witness to the Cataclysm and seems to be an upstanding Hammerite, so his exile is a mystery all around.

Also, how did the Weilstorm get a recording of The Horn of Quintis? Doubt someone went down there with a pretty grand piano...
I think there is an object that is looking very similar to The Horn of Quintus in T.M. Blackhearts shop - docks - Shipping and receiving, mission 2 - T2 Metal Age.
And he is a musician and has recording equipment, so.. maybe that is how it was recorded.

There are more than one horn that looks like that. It's just the same model used over and over, no variations. There's one in the Angelwatch ballroom, presumably played by a worker-bot when the ball was in full swing.
EDIT: Yeah sorry, tihomir, the fact that a mixing board and two-track wax cylinder were established tech in the Thief Universe, a horn and piano could be recorded, even separately. Perhaps T.M. Blackheart made some money to compensate for his stolen original pre-released composition. :p
