Listen carefully to the first recording from Wieldstorm Museum in TDS. In the background of the music, you can hear Horn of Quintus melody.

Yep. With piano accompaniment. That's what we're talking about.:)

Sorry, I haven't read this thread carefully. So, maybe Garrett sold Horn of Quintus to Mr. Blackheart? Or maybe one of his fences did this?
jtr7 on 27/8/2009 at 12:04
Or someone paid to have Blackheart record them.

By the way. I have few mysteries to solve.
1) In Shoalsgate prison section there is something like Haunt. Why it is here?
2) In the same prison, there are locked doors. If we are close in, we can hear voices, like: "Why," he tells me, "Why?" And I say, "Did the Builder not pave the way of thine order with the blood of heathens? Shouldst I not do as the Builder would?" Hahaha. And I thank the Builder for his wisdom, for He hath shown me the divine power of death.
And then Garrett says: Oh, yeah. He's gone!
What is that all about?

2) is nothing special: I guess that prisoner has been long, too long. Garrett has the same conclusion: the guy is far gone from sanity.

1. It's the spirit of some guy who had died in the prison and who has haunted the place ever since.
2. He's a madman and murderer, I'm pretty sure that a scroll somewhere said that he was scheduled for execution and that they were going to keep him in solitary until then.

The Haunt:

Schmidt:

Ambush!, go to the Southern portion of Helena Way. Use the map to get there. Look for a wall bordering the stream that has 3 torches stuck in it. There are 4 boards nailed to the wall in the shape of a
W. In the stream directly below the
W, is a bag of gold. This is a reference to the old movie
"It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world" In the movie, a bunch of people are trying to find buried treasure that was ultimately located buried
"Under the big W" (in the movie it was 4 palm trees that grew to make the W)
* In
Framed, that murderer
Schmidt, held in solitary confinement, was orignally named Crazy Gordon Smith. "Smiler Grogan" became "Smith, Gordan." The madness in the movie title may be connected to the fact that Smith was crazy. The sound schema for Schmidt calls him Crazy Gordon Smith, and the filenames for his rants still recall the original Smith.
* Two of the many unused comments by Garrett that refer to him, once by the old name:
gar0503: "Judging from the guard post, I'll bet that's Smith's place."
gar0504: "Hmm. Whipple and Helena Way... That's where that prisoner in Shoalsgate said he stashed some loot."
Schmidt is a mass murderer that killed various people including a Hammerite. Also, I can't be certain it's related but another unused text states:
Quote:
So High And Mighty Mister Priest -
Remember how you locked me up last year?
For calling you out on the street? Remember
you broke my fingers for "heresy" you called it?
Well, I seen you now, I seen how the gear-heads are
taking all the gold and the land that used to be all yours.
So I say to you hah, and hah again, and I spit on your
hammers and your builder and may the gear-heads murder
you all in your beds!
Since it's significantly different, I'd say it was meant to just show how welcoming the people were to the Mechanist movement and the Hammers' diminishment.
