Yes on both counts. Whenever you get around to it, catbarf, I'm sure you'll have something to report. And when you do, I'll post a vague-yet-telling pic.

Fantastic! I sooooo like reading along, cause I just love watching people play the games I like so dearly and check their responses ^^
I think you'll come to love the zombies though.... I hated them at first, because I was so scared of them, but later on in the levels I wished for the next mission to be a zombie themed one..... They aren't bad guys once you know how to handle them :cheeky:
please keep writing the missions here, okay? it's almost as much fun as playing the levels myself!

Yeah, the zombies are really not that bad at all. I don't see why some people get SO FREAKED OUT! LIKE OMG!
They are slower en molasses, you can out run them so easy.

Tagging on: If it weren't for the hammerites being the loveable lethal zealots that they are the zombies would've been my #1 enemies to stalk, so I've concluded a long time ago.
*waits for the next update*

This is really funny because I too just started replaying Thief Gold - in part thanks to DDfix and all the other goodies that breathed new life into this 10-year-old game.

I really don't see why you have to pour scorn upon us lesser mortals. I mean, I met a ghost - it was very freaky. Zombies are no different. Freaky! OK?
And I, too, am thoroughly enjoying the reports. TG is in the disc drive and just about ready to follow suit.

FYI: The Guards in the Thieves Guild know who you are... it says so in the cutscene briefing. And they're NOT fond of you.
The main reason to continue on with Gold is slight difference in story and levels: You'll soon be on a sub-quest soon to find four items. In DP, they're split between two missions. In Gold, each item is in it's own mission, and the two extra gold missions are definitely nice.

Ah, thanks. I must not have been paying attention, the impression that I got from the video was that Garrett is and has been independent of the Thieves Guild.

Correct. They just see him as competition, and he is very much their competitor, and he proves it in this mission.
"Have to be careful...the Downwinder's know me all too well. If they catch sight of me they'll KNOW who took the vase. Assuming they don't just kill me for trespassing."

Heh, I remember that now. Thanks.
I'm sick today with a nasty stomach virus, so I've got plenty of free time in which to complete the next mission.
