To get roombrushing right is one of the most difficult things to do in Dromed. My first mission was a nightmare in that regard, but I got smarter after that about how to build so that it was easier. As hard as it is, it is also very very important.

Ok... I suppose I'll reveal myself since I'm not in the contest anymore. I made the Evendale mission. I should have left DEDX out of it because I have absolutely no idea how to package it. None. No idea whatsoever. Maybe if someone could assist me in it I'll release it as a normal FM later. Does it work if you have DEDX installed? As for the key behind the locked gate at the end of the mission. heh..he.. well that was a mistake. I was originally going to have the player use it but I got lazy so close to the deadline. I'll delete it for the workable version. If someone could possibly pm me to help me fix it, maybe I can send one of you DromEd legends the file so you can help me with it. (There isn't supposed to be an invisible guard either)
Thanks all,

I hope you find someone to help you out with it, Random_Taffer because I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'd love to play a complete version!

R_T: Well, it works in DROMED if you have dedx installed, however, then the books don't seem to work. However, Thief itself seems unable to find the objects, BUT you can read the books.
But yeah, if having hammerites and the specific dedx AI aren't integral to the mission, just replace them with stock ones (So mechanists and city watch, for instance). I took a look at the mision in Dromed and it looks very impressive =) its just that the bugs made me cry =(
I'd love to see a working re-rlease; make sure you do a Beta first though! =D

I have DEDX installed. I ran into a few bugs while playing through Darkloader...(Not DromEd) but I can't say I noticed anything that was really amiss.
I just couldn't get the mission to finish because I couldn't get through the west (I think it was west) gate. I didn't have a compass. I tried poking around at all the gates for a while but figued it was a bug or a nocice mistake so I just quit since the rest was done.
If you need a betatester when it's ready for release, I'd love to do it! Just drop me a PM or email. :)

12 days of playing and voting left before the big reveal when the winners and their identities are revealed. to keep things organized on my end and make things quicker i need those ballots, sending it to me the night ballots are due will just pile the work up for me, i would like a more leisurely job.

I ran into the same problem shortly before releasing the first beta of A Love Story II. The non-Thief 2 AI were invisible because the models and meshes weren't in the zip file. I had a really hard time figuring out all of the required files for the AI, so I included all of them from DedX. It was easier to figure out what sound files to include though.

It's not that hard once you get the hang of it - AI are a bit easier than objects.
R_T, I'll be glad to help you out here, I've downloaded Evendale but haven't played it yet... I'll assemble a list of all the files you need to include in the ZIP as soon as I have time - it may be a few days...
