No, just from the forums, but he was supposed to put me in contact with someone from Eidos Corporate. Six months seems an awfully long time for him to find someone for me to contact. ;) Who was the contact for the T3 Editor petition?

*heavy sigh*
If you internet nerds are really serious about haranguing some poor guy at Eidos, then you'd be well advised to dispense with the emails and PMs and all that other electronic cack.
When I worked as a journo, there was absolutely no substitute for THE TELEPHONE. Emails can be ignored; phone calls need to be dealt with. Corporate shills are there to be pestered, and you need to pester them until you get a response you are satisfied with.
I appeciate that it's probably months since you people actually made contact with a HUMAN BEING by some means that didn't involve a string of 1s and 0s, but if you actually made the effort to pick up the phone, I'm certain you'd get quicker results.

Yeah, well...not all of us sit around our computers all day, so just can the attitude. The idea is that the guy at Eidos was supposed to put me in touch with someone directly. A telephone, email, pm...they're all valid forms of communication in todays world.

There's something deeply ironic about somebody throwing around terms like "internet nerd" on a post in an Internet forum.

StD has a point, though, and you're letting your wounded net-egos miss it. The guy probably gets 200 emails a day, a good 80 of which he actually has to take seriously (i.e., job threatening if he doesn't) ... so your earlier emails can get buried like the rest. Phone, email, PM, they are *not* equal. From his perspective, with email: we're all *just* a few random fans out there taking 4 seconds to email on our own arbitrary whims, impulsively thinking we're entitled to corporate property just because we bought the game 8 years ago. If he hasn't heard from you for a long while, chances are he's breathing a sigh of relief that *you* have forgotten about him. You have to think like a suit to deal with a suit. The poor guy doesn't want to rile the corporate dragons that will be screaming at *him* "Are you nuts or just stupid!" unless he has a good reason to ... like some kind of fan rebellion brewing ... so its to his advantage to try to brush the whole thing under the carpet and hope it goes away.

I heard that some poeple consider letters to be much more indicative of a population than e-mails... does anyone know to whom I should address my letter?

Hmmm, I don't know. I did that type of work for three years and we were far more likely to be yelled at when we didn't answer PM's/ emails. People were fired for doing this repeatedly. I used to have to answer 200 emails a day sometimes...even if it's only a simple 'cut and paste' of "we're looking into it", it's better than not answering at all.

btw, shouldn't this thread be considered as "important" in the forum ? :p

You do know, because I fucking told you.
If you want a corporate spokesperson to respond to you, you will get the best results by phoning.
It's a truism. It's not up for debate.
But, I tell you what. You continue firing off text messages into the ether and we'll see how far it gets you. I could care less either way.
