The thing is, not all the members of TTLG are interested in the Thief series. Some are here for Deus-Ex, others for TES, Ultima and System shock series...
Maybe we should flood every forums on TTLG... :cheeky:

Yes, I admitedly got a little over stimulated and went on a posting frenzy. Heh. I appologzied to David by PM, so hopefully he'll forgive me and understand my intentions were noble....despite being rambunctious and stupid.

You'll also have to hope that nobody at Eidos can be bothered to read the full text of the petition:

What we have in mind is that you release it along with Thief 3.

We have now got two of these threads in TEG. Why must you shove it in our faces, especially when we already know of this, AND HAVE ALREADY SIGNED?
I have nothing against this petition, but when members come along and shove it in our faces, it's just bad practice. I really hope we get the stuff but i'm not holding my breath.

That member was me, and as I already explained...I got a little 'over enthused', but it's hardly the crime that it's being made out to be. Jeez, has nobody here ever gotten excited about something and done something stupid? The idea was not to shove it in anyones face, I just wanted this to reach as many of the TTLG members WHO HAVEN'T YET SIGNED as possible, and create some momentum to get the signatures up. In hindsight, it was a poor choice. ;) So, if you have signed, we politely thank you, but the post didn't apply to you and you can safely ignore it.

On a side note, I really do agree with STD. If so many people really feel so strongly about this then why not start ringing up eidos on this matter? I'll bet it is 100% more effective.
Internet petitions are great, but cmon, Eidos isn't stupid, anyone can and will sign these things. You yourselves said to post it on random forums! I'm just trying to help.

You are too optimistic on this matter, is is so obvious that Eidos
will simply not do it. Therefore, I did not sign your petition.
Ahh, happy memories.
*wipes tear*Signed.
