A rare case of a design doc for the reboot that's worth checking out: The (http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1014482/Stealing-Sound-The-Application-of) "Stealing Sound" lecture by Paul Weir is interesting, even if he sadly never had the opportunity to properly work on the OST after he was replaced by the new composer.
