This one is worth playing just for clever writing. I only played a few minutes of it, but I was having too much fun with the main character and his name. Some "so bad they're good" thoughts came up in my head, like:
Haunty von Joinus is out on a recruitment drive.
"I'm with the Church of Undeadology, and I want you to JOIN US! JOIN US NOW!"
---
The eternally traveling salesman meets some customers who seem VERY interested in his wares.
"Hi, I'm selling these fine wooden hammers. Would you like a free sample?" *WHACK*
---
(These lines would propably work better with appropriate screenshots.)
Can't say for sure if this is the best mission in the contest, but it's definetely the most enjoyable one. I'll have to play it more thoroughly later.

Thank you Haplo and Marukpa - great work with a nice twist!
Started out badly as I still tried to be sneaky everywhere and avoid conflict - but come on, a haunt trying to hide in the shadows! I re-read the readme and I was off again but in full attack mode.
The extra speed with the hammer drawn was great to have although the archers could still punish you. I knew I would need to do a bit of thinking with your puzzles but with the help of some various sized crates - and some rubbish I managed to finish. Nice credit picture by the way - and I am sure there's no need to get a no-KO hat ;) !
Never found how to use my friends in inventory but will definitely go back to see if I can let them off their leash. :thumb:

You must be standing close to your opponents to use the "Haunt"-ability. It is best to attract as much attention as possible and having a bunch of Mechanists chase you, because then you can make yourself plenty of new friends :ebil:
