Even Dracula Reloaded has much common with non-reloaded version, though landscape was quite altered and fog absense was frustrating.:( I don't understand why Sensut had removed it. Those who don't like it could just turn it off in menu.

I so suck at hand to hand combat in these games. Managed to get the furry beast by mad bashing with a dash of pure luck, but my luck has run cold now that I'm trying for the heart. Is this violent confrontation necessary to finish? If I can get him to chase me all the way to the Hammerite cathedral, will that count as delivery?

I aint that hot at Thief swordfighting either - try what I did:
Taunt it out of the grave (try to not take too much damage! ;)); then let it swing at you, jump back, then step into an overhead strike just after it swings, repeat til RE-dead! :sly:
(that's my time tested zombie coping method too! :cheeky:)
learned that in the first encounters with the aliens in the start of Half-life,
when alls ya gots is da tried and true el kabong monkey wrench! :laff:
ps - I doubt your plan would work - those Hammer brutes only use blunt instruments! (no blade to cut out the heart!) :p

Afraid you do need to confront him redleaf :( - have you got any
invisibility potions left - they can be really useful with getting the heart.

An easy way to defeat the evil-Spoiler:
After you have all three artifacts, and the house key to commissionder DeNavans House there is a third Invisible Potion. You should now have three Invisible Potions. Take the Holy Sword to the Cemetery, and Use your Ally " Amilion to help you defeat both the Werewolf and Mr. Websters Skeleton. This way is the best. Another way is to wait a couple of minutes until the Wolf has settled down after searching for you, and get behind him. Continually Strike him without letting up, only 21 strikes are needed. For the Skeleton just use your Invisible Potions. 2 of them. Garrett must use his skill of planning and sneakiness since he is not the Warrior type.Watch this spoiler video, and see how I designed it :(

Thanks for the tip, Mr. Shadow, but my neighbors, and their irritating little barky squeek-dog toys, were getting tired of hearing me die over and over and over again. I tried THIS, and it worked!
:ebil: I stood on top of the crypt and threw him into the grave. Then I crouched (one torch was out, giving me darkness) And let fly with 2 fire arrows right into his heart. After those 2, I was empty-handed, and so in complete darkness on the crypt. He looked around, never leaving the confines of his grave, and finally gave up and went quiet. Then I started hitting him with broadhead arrows, putting away the weapon after each firing so I would be in darkness again. He always looked, never saw me, then gave up. I did this 4 times, and then he wound up facing me. That was not good. So I backed into the darkest corner and dropped quietly to the ground and snuck past him into the graveyard. When I was a safe distance away, in darkness again with his back to me, I repeated the broadhead arrow attack until they were all gone (maybe 8 more arrows). He never left the confines of his grave. Then I did the same thing with my 2 remaining rope arrows. The idea was just to inflict damage points to weaken him.
Next I used a few moss arrows on the ground between me and him. Then I started little sneak attacks with my blackjack, each time crouching and backing away. After about 5 of these attacks he spotted me. I decided to fight the rest of the way, and instead of running, walked right into him with an overhead. Then started thrashing and bashing, trying to circle around, like you suggested. It only took 3 or 4 hits to kill him! Good thing, because if he had hit me one more time, I would have been dead. I think I lost about 4 lives each time he scored a hit on me.
:o And I need to confess that I shamelessly threw my husband into the affray before trying this technique.

Does that mean that when she's all done she wins the Martin Luthor King Jr.
Achievement award? :cheeky:
(or
to comment once again on Half-Life does she get the Freeman Never Say Die award???) :p
