Hi Dia, Did you read all four of the books of evidence before depositing them? Ramirez, Webster, Skulls, Commissioner. are the only four books. all are labled "evidence"
No, I think I just threw the first one I grabbed on the Priest's table without reading it. Does that mean I'll have to restart the whole thing now?

Did you read the Commissioner's Scroll that was on his corpse? No reason to get your purse back unless you've read it.
Yes, I read the Commissioner's scroll but thought Garrett's purse would count as loot, for some reason.

The explanation for the Ramiirez ledger requested by Mr.Webster is that this was a ploy to get Garrett back to the Cemetery to Kill him, as he was the only one capable of retreiving any evidence against him. This objective is cancelled when you read it. It is one of four books of evidence requested by the Hammerites.
The objective of meeting Webster in the cemetery cancelled, as did the objective to kill him after he turned into a demon (or whatever). But even after I placed all 4 books on the ledge indicated, the objective regarding the evidence did not tick off.

Are you by chance running Windows Vista with Garrettloader?
No; I'm running XP64 with Darkloader.
Sounds like I didn't read one of the books of evidence when I was supposed to and now I can't pick them up again to read them. Otherwise, it's a great mission with great graphics; also like the fact that some of the AI are alert enough to make it a challenge. :thumb:

Thankyou Dia, I have made a revision, so the objective screen has "Read" in it. also, a few other fixes. Just waiting for the link to be posted. I have contacted Brethren for permission.

WOW, what a great mission Darthslair :thumb::thumb:
Lots and lots of fun!
As I read here I just need the Commisioner's Ledger Evidence.
But I wonder: I also need a key to the house opposite the cathedral, where the open window is. It's a metal door. I also need to find Brother Murus'key for the gate that leads to some kind of crypt.
And where do I use the Decret keepers key??

Hi Gloria, Okay you need to:Go to where you exited the jail from the secret door leading to the water falls. The commissioner is at the bottom.Grab his scroll in his hand and read it, then grab the key off his belt. Then you can enter his house. Once you get his Red Ledger besure and read it. As all of the ledgers (books of evidence must be read)
If you haven't yet met Mr. Webster at his house. Look at your map, go meet him in his house, thengrab the map (instructions to use the roof top access to the cemetery) he will place it on the desk. Besure and leave the Webster area fast and right a way, as his Cronies are Viscious and they will attack you if they see you again.
That should get you inside the Cemetery. Good luck !
Thanks for the Compliment Gloria, it always makes my day. :thumb:

Thanks Darthslair, I already did all of that. I just need the book you mentioned.
I must have missed something, :tsktsk: going to check it out right now.
Better yet, I'll restart, because now, when I get into the cathedral the hammerites are attacking me. :nono:
Edit: Yes, I missed that river guy ....
I guess I must start over again. I can't put down the evidence now without being killed. Hmmmm
Gloria Creep on 7/2/2011 at 23:32
How is this possible?
I've restarted and there is no man with scroll and key in the river anymore. Does he gets there later on in the mission?
I should probably read all stuff again and again and again ... :ebil:
Whát a mission!!!
I love it :thumb:
Crazy ... the song .... is that Vera Lynn?
Xorak on 8/2/2011 at 00:19
I think the guy does appear in the waterfall later on, I'm not sure when exactly he appears, or what note tells you he should appear.
The four secrets are:
1. On a small wooden beam in the SE corner overlooking the grounds of Ramirez's estate
2. In Ramirez's bedroom, open the door in his fireplace, and the secret is in the little niche that follows
3. From the weaponshop door, follow the walls NE and there is a small window to your left that requires a rope arrow to reach
4. Near Websters in a small niche directly above the little canal of water.
Gloria Creep on 8/2/2011 at 00:34
Thanks Xorak, I think I guessed right.
As for the 4 secrets: I've got all of them, but it's definately of use here on this thread.:thumb:
A remark: As I restarted, I found a door, not highlighted, in a small portal in town.
I didn't think anything of it in my former post, but now I banged it open with my sword .... got a black doorway and some guards screaming they'll get me.
Is this leading somewhere in the game?
darthsLair on 8/2/2011 at 01:02
No, it doesn't go anywhere. It is a door that Looking Glass put in.
The When is Commissioner DeNavan's corpse appear :In time through out the game, and when you comeback from Ramirez to finishup your goals in the city. At the base of the water falls, below the upper docks.
