Fair enough - I just remember the tight timescales the authors had to get these missions out - some of them needing every last day! Bound to be some issues I guess :erg:

according to Firemage I should have gotten a key from Sammy - nope! :nono:
See, there's what I meant Sagittal - no key from Sammy but I just went up to
Evidence Storage and killed Malcome!
Did'nt do ANY bomb defusing, and no bombs went boom, and saw a key on Malcomb's belt - but as soon as I killed him:
Mission Complete! :weird:
Now - if Firemage would like to delve back into the gutz, nutz, and bolts of this
interestin creation o his and polish up the faults - I'd love to play it again, as would most I am sure! :thumb:
PS: How much ya wanna bet that key on his belt was to the bomb in the footlocker in the barracks, that is unpickable! ;)

I stuck. Having killed Logan, Alonso, Bogdan and Melinda, I can't find other rogues. What does interrogation room button do? Also, how do you get into the abandoned house?
If you killed those four,
Sammy should be in the reception room at the front desk. When he sees you he will run toward the prison you escaped from in the beginning. Follow him there and listen to what he says. He is supposed to give you a key but I never got one from him.
The button in the interrogation room opens the outer gate between the control room and the dungeon if it is closed.
I got into the abandoned house by shooting a fire arrow at the wooden boards over the window.

I got into the house the same way Tannar - but Sammy was'nt in the reception until I had killed the one in the underground pool area!

Ah, that's what the button does - thanks Tannar!
Sammy doesn't have a key to give you directly - he says in his conversation (not easy to catch) that
Malcolm has the key for his house.
That's the key
on Malcolm's belt - that also happens to open the
final locked door in Evidence Storage (!). Going to the
house and reading the ledger (and meeting an old buddy) is the last objective. If you've got the ledger earlier, via fire arrow ;) , then killing Malcolm is your last objective.
To confirm, for Sammy to appear I had to kill Alonso, Logan, Brogdan, Melinda and Zelir.
I found that the No Entry door will become
unlocked when Melinda appears inside Shoalsgate's main gate from the tavern bridge - I think you mustn't alert/kill her before she gets inside?
If you do it just means the No Entry door may remain locked. There's not a lot to do in the dungeon area and - unless FireMage or others comment - I dont think it's mission critical to get in there.

Thanks for the clarifications, Sagittal!

So I met Sammy. Everytime I get back near the front gate, the mission failed. A bomb exploded

The No Entry door will become
unlocked the moment Melinda appears .
Maybe it's supposed to happen that way, but like i said - the mission seriously needs some touching up!
Did'nt you read my posts about my probs with Mel and that bloody door?
I tried a handful of times, in diff ways, and
anything that alerts her, even a short but somewhat noisy fight in a closed room not immed adjacent to any other walls; causes her to go invis and not go open that door!
which was still locked everytime! :p
I had to do as i posted to avoid alerting her and THEN i had to shepherd her thru one door and shadow her til she
physically opened that No Entry door and then i could kill her!
all Firemage needs to do is set the code more in concrete as to what triggers what and what the reaction to the trigger is.
(it has even been said in here that Mel comes into the metal room where Logan lures you - uh uh, no way Jose - i sat up on that raised area for about 3 mins and the door to there never opened again and no one came in!) :nono:

I am sure you're right Garrett's Shadow - I have always managed to bj Melinda on finding her in Shoalsgate pushing against those double-doors. It was just how it happened for me but I killed Brogdan or Alonso after killing Logan, over at the tavern, so I never had the problem of alerting Melissa when I was over there. Maybe if she's alerted too early the door just doesn't get unlocked until she does it herself as you say  .
I dropped Brogdan's bj'd body down the well - then watched through the double doors, as he was drowning, to see Melinda appear, at the bridge near the tavern - I went to the No Entry door and it had just become unlocked. :erg:

That's my one gripe about this mission - it IS a good one - it just is'nt as tightened up as it should be!
btw - may as well just call me GS - ezier to type!
(and has a certain ring to it too! lol)
Your way of killin him was also prolly ezier!
But - i am a Leo and a Tiger, when I play a character that been done so wrong -
i prefer to get the vengeance personal style! :ebil: :sly:
