can someone explain to me the backdrop for this thread? I don't mean to be rude, but what is so special about these mp3s? Are they full blown fan music tracks? Or just wave files converted over?
No,not music(unless you consider Benny talented). They are wave files converted to MP3.Mostley reconstructed conversations and such. Some could be used as ringtones such as drunk Benny , alarms ect... depending on ones taste.
Now ,"I" don't mean to be rude either but,if you were to click on the link and download one or two you would see what they are.

Sorry for replying so late, ravoll, just wanted to thank you for those.
Those Hammerite conversations are in my opinion one of the best things that capture the atmosphere of Thief 1.

random comment concerning the sound files.
I have a few in my iTunes from when I was listening to them, and one of the clips of Karras in the speakers in Soulforge came on in shuffle.
Scared the crap out of me :wot:
