Hi guys,
I was reading up the thief series entry on wiki when i was pretty amazed to see it say (roughly, cus its from memory): 'the first mission can be completed in 40 seconds.' Im pretty amazed at that and immediately went to youtube to try and find it but it wasnt there. Does anyone know where i can find speed runs of any thief 1 &2 missions particularly the one mentioned above

After having just watched the 40 second Bafford video, I'm slightly underwhelmed. I was under the impression that a true speed run finished the entire level and met all the objectives, not just one. All the video shows is the player running in, running to the throne room, grabbing the sceptor and then starting to mantle up above the doorway, while half the guards in the manor chase him.

@DeargDoom
downloading stuff at (
www.thief-universe.de/de/downloads.htm) works just fine for me.
@Rekrul
That is the only objective. And the idea of a speedrun is just to finish the level.

Ok, I thought that Bafford's had a loot requirement also. In any case, it seems kind of a cheat to just run in with all the guards following you.

I think on EASY the loot requirement doesn't come up until you pick up your first piece of loot.
Another type of speedrun would be a FULL run, with all possible objectives, all loot, and all secrets, Expert level, I don't know if anyone has done one.
