Open it in Paint.
Don't do anything else but the following:
Click "Image" on the toolbar.
Click "Stretch/Skew".
Type "50" in both "Horizontal" and "Vertical" boxes.
Click "Okay".
Save.
Or open it in Picture Manager. Edit. Resize. Save.
Or wait for an irritated Moderator to do it for you for a price.
Looks good so far. Are you going to add more details eventually?

hmmmm thats the thing, I dont have any of these programs, and what do you mean for a price?
more detail will come as the various colored glass is put in place, but so far its equal detail to the real one im copying off, keeping in mind the original is not actually stained glass its just animated in a cutscene.

You don't have Paint or Picture Manager?
Not installed? Not running a Microsoft operating system?
No image editing software at all? No resize option on the filesharing site?

You've not drawn the man's hair or face, so I wondered if that kind of detail was going to be added, or if you've decided to keep him featureless.

No one's confused about that.
Oh...and the "price" will be anything from a virtual slap...or worse.

Paint?? :nono:
IrfanView is free and can resize properly. And it can handle lots of image formats. It can make icon files.

Paint? Why not? It works. I was keeping it simple, not knowing what software is available to Benvox2. I still don't know. If the image demands smoother resizing, which this one doesn't, I'd use anything other than Paint.

Actually, yes, Paint does a good job with this image. There's a first time for everything.
Benvox: Paint is usually in Start > Programs > Accessories
If you still can't find it, just click on Start and select Run, then type mspaint

Stained Glass? Take a look at my "Dynamic Glass Refraction" demo on my website: (
http://sio2.g0dsoft.com). You'll need to scroll down a bit - there's a lot of demos on there.
If anyone has any Thief specific stained glass textures (images/bitmaps) I'd gladly make another demo to showcase them.
The stained glass at (
http://www.spectralcreations.com/gallery/hammerite.html) looks nice, but I'd need permission from the creator to use it and a bit of time to make it into a "proper" texture for 3D use.

Ah yes. Thanks R Soul!;)

Yea, I do have paint i just never use it, but dont fear some kind human being put it into a neat link for me, please dont turn this thread into a photoshop vs paint debate! haha but thnx alot!
Jtr7: well with stained glass, its very hard to get the details of eyes and mouths on a small head with glass, so Im going to use the right colors then maybe paint them on later, they are very faint tho. You will see that as I add glass it will look much better.
R Soul: cool looking glass demo, and someone already posted that link of the hammerite window, but thnx again!
Any comments on this peeps?
